Gold

Sometimes it is a hedge against bad times and at other times, you have no idea what it is.  And who determines the price of gold?

Lately, it has been a hedge.  What I know is production is not keeping up with demand but who needs production?  The central banks of the world keep a huge hoard of gold.  So if one chooses to sell, the price just tumbles!

Not all gold stocks are valuable... only those in production (NST) or near production or have verifiable reserves... like GOR.

I never understood why gold, a historical hedge, was abandoned recently. Today, when the stock markets are falling, it is finally rising!
