To invest more or stop in the equity market?

It now feels very risky to invest more in the stock market due to overinflated valuation of some stocks (in the technology sector).  However, if you don't and the share price keeps going up, you feel you have missed the boat again and again!

Currently, I am happy to refrain for a while.  And perhaps focus on the garden in spring!

BDC

When I saw the drilling result, I jumped into this miner.  It is still exploring but wants to produce gold next year.  Price went up of course.  And then next day, for inexplicable reason, investors start to sell it off to 9c.  And so I topped up.

And then it announced another good drilling result, and its share price went up (only a bit).  And so I topped up at 9.1c

And then along with the broader markets, the lemmings sold it off to 8.4C.  When it hits 8.1c, I am jumping back in again.

This strategy in investing is based purely on logic.  People sell on good news; I buy on good news when people are selling.

AZY

While it is very obvious, few people want in on AZY.  If you look at its tenements and who wants to have a bite of its cherry, none are small mining companies!

I first bought AZY 17 months ago, it soon turned out to be a non-entity.  And then became a significant loss in Jan 2020.  But I continued to buy as its price improved to around what it was when I first bought.

But in the last 4 weeks, people are starting to notice... and suddenly I am up 80%.  Faith and logic do have a place in longer term investment.
