TON

One period of time, the share price of this went over heavens.  Then it nearly plunged down below Marianna Trench.  But it rose again because, it has lots of graphite and good quality ones.  But it never reached stratosphere until yesterday.  As usual, when someone really wants the stock because of all its good values, suddenly every one wants in...  While the ASX has dropped today, this stock has given me a very nice alpha overall.

TON

Be wary about shares that keep going up especially when you don't understand the significance of being able to "expand 1000 times".    I am not selling either.  However, the share price is starting to become crazy again.  TON leapt and leapt last year but then it started tumbling until this recent news about its ability to expand.

VLA

This one is now becoming very interesting....

One must be aware that biotech stocks are one of the most difficult to invest in.  Many have great ideas or products.  But whether it makes profit for the shareholders depends on many factors.  And things can turn bad very quickly.

VLA has a fantastic thread to sell but if another company comes along and makes a better therapy or with less side-effects, it is the end of VLA.

However, of late, I suspect, a big company is interested in its product...  Australia can kiss goodbye to a great development in cancer therapy.

WBC

When GFC was around, the only bank that I bought in sizable quantity was WBC.  For a strange reason, in spite of having a great CEO (Gail Kelly was worth thinking about when I was going to sleep), people were just selling off a good bank.

Hence, I am getting to nearly double what I paid for, excluding all the dividends I have pocketed.  I remember saying that if you cannot handle the risk of dabbling in resource stocks, then THIS is the company to invest in.  Resource stocks have been a disastrous investment but I never got rid of most of my blue chip stocks.  So accumulating WBC shares have been most rewarding.
