FBR

It had a good write-up on its brick laying robots...  It can work non-stop, functions like a 3D printer, lays faster than a brickie can and has no union membership.  The latter may or may not be an advantage!

I bought some after it had its first commercial contract to build a house.  That is a trial of course.  If it is successful, then this world-first technology would do well unless superseded by another technology.

Today, it has gone over what I paid... by a little.  In the last week, there was a market plunge, so this stock has been resilient!

When I paid 6.6c 1-2 weeks ago, I thought I had rushed it a bit. In fact, at that price after a great announcement, it had already fallen from its sky high price that day. Then as usual, it fell over the next few days.

I was worried that with the current trial, if there was just one hiccup, the price would come crumbling. But the announcement today was another great one! So the price leapt to close at 9.6c.

The brickies should be worried! This robot lays the bricks faster, works longer hours and can be used as a 3D printer for laying the bricks! And it is a world first and it is a WA invention. Best of all, it does its job well for much less!

In spite of hiccups on the ASX today, this stock went up to 10c! Nice to have a >50% rise in under 2 weeks.

Greed sets in and retrospectively, one always wishes I had bought more!

Crazy!!

Went up by 4c today to 14c. Gone up by 110% in 2 weeks. More greed sets in! Wish I bought more! But I don't indulge in retrospectology as the share price could have collapsed if the pilot trial met with any hiccup. As in ANY hiccups at all...

The market is ruthless in punishing a stock on ANY devastating bad news. Hence, I had some luck. However, the company would have done lots of research and the building construction company would have assessed the robots thoroughly before committing itself to the technology.

I put a low buy at 10.5c but yesterday, it only fell to 12c and today, it rushed to 15c. So nice to make a 126% profit in just over a fortnight.

The only announcement FBR made today is to show off a video and it went up by 3c! Should make more videos!

I put a bid in at 10.5c. And collected a parcel of FBR shares today. It is the lowest price today so I am glad. By the close of business, I would have to pay 11.5c. Earlier in the day, the share price when to 14c.

So far, there has been no bad news so I am happy to accumulate if some investors want to cash out... at lower than prevailing market price.
