Tech Stocks

Overall, if it has not been tech stocks, my overall performance for our portfolios would have been poor as the banks, SYD and ASX have been either stagnant or falling.  However, I can't sell them as they still give good dividends.

I recently bought into WHK and EOS.  Up to yesterday, the total rise within one week would be equivalent to a nurse's pay for a whole year!  While it is very easy to make money on the ASX, things can change and I may have to do nurse's work for a few years to re-coop!

I have ditched some tech shares that performed poorly and recovered the loss via other tech tech stocks.  However, it has been amazing to see the likes of APT, Z1P, WHK, HUB, AD8, TNE, NWL, XRO and WTC zooming pass >20% within the last year.  Early days yet for ALU and APX which form part of the WAAAX combination.

EOS

This is not a stock to buy if you are 'principled' and you are a moralist.  I am neither but I won't touch certain stocks.

This one makes laser device used for military purposes and recently had to declare that they have not sanctioned its use in Yemen.  Is it true?  Nearly every country has an army to protect itself.  For that reason I have no problem with investing in a technology.

When I heard in a video on its achievement, it is rather impressive but interestingly is below the radar.  When cash materialized from selling off AMI, I pumped some of that into mostly WHK and EOS.

WHK

I moved into this stock too late (by 1 day) but at least I got it cheaper than yesterday's close!

WHK is a software company involved with cyber security.  What is amazing is it got a contract with the US government!  Plus some other work of course.  And the volume is going to increase.

It is a very small company with a huge contract!  How could I resist?  I dumped WOR for this stock this AM.  I didn't buy a small parcel.  I bought a big parcel.  I paid 8.3c for it and by the end of the day, it was 8.9c.  Nice to make a quick paper profit but the rest of my stock was hit hard today by falling tech and financial stocks (tech stocks rose in the AM!).
