This was an almost dead duck, frequently drowning in a pool. Whenever it drowned, it somehow floated up again but remained for many years in the negative.
However, finding more gold was a great incentive for it to remain afloat but it continued to drown! Recently, because of the trade war initiated by Donald Duck, the Chinese may retaliate by cutting supplies of rare earths to the USA. And this is the real resuscitation... by another duck, ie Donald Duck!
I have topped up because of its promising future. And today, without any announcement, it has gone over my buy price. Considering inflation effect, it is still a negative return but I have more hope for it.

Since I posted those comments, ALK has found a huge and thick (>500m) layer of porphyry Au-Cu mineralization but 2 days ago, it found another thick layer (600m) below that layer. Its share price has jumped a lot since the first zone was discovered. But after a brief rise with the second thick layer, it has fallen off. Come Monday, it is time for me to top up if it stays below $1.
I was forgetful and missed out on the last recent SPP at 56c.
